Coronavirus / Covid-19 Update

Current Update For March 20, 2020:

As the climate surrounding COVID-19 continues to evolve; WinDor is making sure that we continue to monitor the concern and do our part as stipulated by both our state and federal governments.

As many of you know, the Governor of California issued a statewide “Stay at Home” order placing it in effect Thursday, March 19th excluding essential services.
The California Building Industry Association (CBIA) reached out to the Governor’s office after last nights order to get clarification. The Governor’s office informed the CBIA that home building is an essential service and is critical to our state’s infrastructure. “We cannot issue a stay and shelter order if there are no shelters available”.

WinDor will continue following all recommended safe practices and social distancing while we continue producing windows and doors for our customers. We’ve instructed our employees that if there’s any sign they don’t feel right, please stay home and seek medical attention. We will not force our employees to work if they are uncomfortable doing so and options have been provided to them to make that possible. At the time of this letter, we are making every effort possible and have continued to ship our trucks and fulfill PO’s on time. However, we can make no assumptions about the changes that are up ahead.

We understand that some of our customers may choose a different path for themselves. We ask that you communicate any closures that you may have or expect to have with us.  If not, we will assume business as usual and will focus on manufacturing your orders per your confirmed ship date.

With so much uncertainty surrounding this virus and its spread, we will continue to monitor and make decisions that we feel are in the best interest of our employees and customers. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this time.

Current Update For March 18, 2020:

  • Corporate Showroom, Brea CA will be by scheduled appointment only
  • Southern California service calls will be handled, emergency only, on a case by case basis.
  • Customer Service Support Nationwide will continue uninterrupted.  Win-Dor will notify of any local or federal government decisions made that will impact service.
