Win-Dor’s Shoot Bolt Modification

Effective date: Quotes entered September 15th, 2023

Win-Dor is introducing a modification to the shoot bolt handle utilized in both our 3750 and 2750 series folding door and window products. While the appearance of the new shoot bolt handle remains similar to our previous version, the key difference lies in the operation. To unlock the panel, users will now need to turn the handle 180 degrees from it’s locked position to fully disengage the bolt and unlock the panel.

This new shoot bolt handle significantly enhances site line views when fully disengaged. The shoot bolt handle will be available in the same finishes as the previous handle, including black and brushed chrome.

Please refer to the images below for visual reference.

For previous orders that included the older shoot bolt handle and locking bar, these components will remain available for ordering specifically for service calls.
